Entrepreneur Diary Series: Reflections on Start Up Life

Updated: Mar 23, 2022

It's been awhile since I've posted about entrepreneurial life. I've been so busy working in my startup that I haven't had the time to talk about it or even reflect on the journey.

That changed recently when I sat down with Ben Truong of Startup Edmonton to share a few thoughts on life changes, leadership and lessons learned along the way. Here's our interview (the hiking boots image will make sense once you watch this!):

Something I wish I'd said during our talk, is that it's the community of people I serve and work with that gives me energy. They keep me going during the tough times. That includes the great community I met at Start Up Edmonton during Pre-flight, my AI ethics communities at WAIE and For Humanity, my Social Ventures Circuit community led by the amazing Zahra Quereshi and of course, my team of consultants and advisors who are working to build Ethically Aligned AI.

I will show up and do what it takes because YOU inspire me to keep going!
